SINGAPORE (ICIS)--Taiwanese refiner Formosa Petrochemical Corp (FPCC) has awarded a tender offering 300,000 bbl per quarter of jet kerosene for 2013, a company source said on Thursday.
FPCC awarded the tender, which closed on 12 November, to four buyers at Singapore market quotes plus 25-30 cents/bbl FOB (free on board) Mailiao, the source added. The buyers included Vitol and a Hong Kong affiliate of a Chinese oil major.
This is the one year-term tender for jet kerosene offered by FPCC for a number of years, the source said.
In its last spot tender, FPCC sold 300,000 bbl of jet kerosene for loading on 6-10 December to Shell at a higher premium of Singapore market quotes plus 60-65 cents/bbl FOB (free on board) Mailiao, the source added.
FPCC operates the 540,000 bbl/day Mailiao refinery in Taiwan.
