China’s Ningbo Zhenyang postpones MIBK plant overhaul to Dec

MELBOURNE (ICIS)--?xml:namespace>China’s Ningbo Zhenyang has postponed a planned maintenance at its 15,000 tonne/year methyl isobutyl ketone (MIBK) plant at Ningbo in Zhejiang province to early December, a company source said on Monday.
The approximately 10-day overhaul was previously scheduled to take place in the second half of November.
The company source said at the time that the exact dates of the maintenance were yet to be finalised.
Ningbo Zhenyang’s MIBK plant was last shut for maintenance between 18 December 2011 and 12 January 2012.
Other MIBK makers in China include Jilin Petrochemical, Zhenjiang LCY General Chemical and Taizhou Petrochemical.By: Trisha Huang
