SINGAPORE (ICIS)--China’s Sichuan Meifeng Chemical Industry is running its new 180,000 tonne/year urea unit at Xinjiang in northwest China at 85% of capacity, a market source said on Tuesday.
Sichuan Meifeng’s daily urea output is about 420 tonnes, the source added.
Company officials could not be immediately reached for comment.
The company achieved on-spec urea products on 6 November, according to a report on Sichuan Meifeng’s official website.
