SINGAPORE (ICIS)--China’s Shenyang Paraffin Chemical plans to sell about 120 tonnes/day of propylene to the domestic market from 26 November after restarting its catalytic pyrolysis processing unit in Shenyang, Liaoning province, on 19 November, a company source said on Friday.

The unit can produce 87,600 tonnes/year of propylene and was shut on 22 October for a turnaround, the source said without providing details.

The company also runs a fluid catalytic cracker (FCC) at the same site which can produce 58,400 tonnes/year of propylene. The FCC was running normally during the shutdown of the catalytic pyrolysis processing unit.
