SINGAPORE (ICIS)--China’s combined imports of polypropylene (PP) and polyethylene (PE) in October totalled 1.07m tonnes, up by 13.4% from the same period last year and a 17.9% decrease from September, official data showed on 23 November.
Total PP imports in October stood at 427,200 tonnes, according to China Customs. PP imports rose by 24.1% from the same period a year ago, but decreased by 18.1% compared with the previous month’s figures.
The country’s PE imports stood at 642,800 tonnes in October, up by 7.2% year on year but a 17.8% decrease from September.
