India’s MRPL offers 35,000 tonnes naphtha for end-Dec

SINGAPORE (ICIS)--India’s Mangalore Refinery and Petrochemicals Ltd (MRPL) is offering by tender a 35,000 tonne naphtha cargo for loading in late December, according to a tender document obtained by ICIS on Monday.

The cargo is scheduled for loading from the New Mangalore port on 28-30 December, it stated.

The tender closes on 29 November, with bids to stay valid until 30 November, the document showed.

In its last tender, MRPL sold three 35,000 tonne naphtha cargoes for loading from the New Mangalore port from December to February.

MPRL sold the first cargo to Japanese petroleum company Idemitsu Kosan at a premium of $44.50/tonne (€34.30/tonne) to Middle East quotes FOB (free on board) for loading on 19-21 December.

The remaining two cargoes for loading on 14-16 January and 16-18 February respectively were awarded to France’s Total at premiums of $42-45/tonne to Middle East quotes FOB.
