HOUSTON (ICIS)--A US propylene producer on Monday nominated a rollover for December, market sources said.
The initiative would keep polymer-grade propylene (PGP) contracts in December at 57.00 cents/lb ($1,257/tonne, €968/tonne) and chemical-grade propylene (CGP) prices at 55.50 cents/lb.
US propylene contracts normally settle at the beginning of the month being negotiated.
A second US producer is expected to step out with its initiative in the coming days.
November propylene contracts rose by 4 cents/lb on the back of higher spot prices.
($1 = €0.77)
