TOKYO (ICIS)--Polyplastics has established a wholly-owned sales company in Frankfurt, Germany, the Japanese chemical producer said in a statement on Tuesday.
The new company, Polyplastics Europe, will import and sell engineering plastics, Polyplastics said.
Japanese companies are expanding their presence in Europe, not only in the automotive sector but also in other various industries, while European companies are increasing their presence in Asia, the producer said.
By establishing a sales company in Frankfurt, Polyplastics said it will be able to provide improved support to its Japanese customers and also be able to directly contact the headquarters of the European companies with subsidiaries in Asia.
