HOUSTON (ICIS)--US refiner Valero reported flaring at its Corpus Christi refinery in Texas after a power loss, a company spokesman said on Wednesday.
The 200,000 bbl/day refinery had a brief power issue late on Tuesday, Valero spokesman Bill Day said. The company reported a loss of power that led to flaring in a filing with federal pollution regulators.
“It did not result in unit shutdowns or any material impact to production. The refinery is operating at planned rates,” Day said.
