HOUSTON (ICIS)--Colonial Pipeline had to temporarily shut down its main gasoline line after finding gasoline on the ground at its Houston station, the US-based petroleum products pipeline company said on Thursday.
The company is still investigating the source of the gasoline.
Colonial said the pipeline was shut down at about 06:30 Houston time (12:30 GMT) and opened back up nearly eight hours later.
The impact on supplies was unknown on Thursday, but it is expected to be relatively minor.
