SINGAPORE (ICIS)--China’s Shaanxi Yanchang Petroleum (Group) is building a 1m cubic metre (cbm)/day gas liquefaction plant at Yan’an in Shaanxi province, northwest China, a company source said on Friday.
The plant will consume natural gas supplied from the company’s Yanchang gasfield in Shaanxi, the source said.
Distribution of liquefied natural gas (LNG) outputs will be integrated with the company’s existing LNG plant in the same city, the source added.
However, the timeline for the unit’s start-up has not been determined yet.
Shaanxi Yanchang Petroleum is one of the four qualified enterprises for oil and gas exploration in China.
