SINGAPORE (ICIS)--China’s Daqing Petrochemical is currently running its 100,000 tonne/year acrylonitrile-butadiene-styrene (ABS) plant in Heilongjiang province at full capacity, a source close to the company said on Monday.

The plant, along with its upstream 225,000 tonne/year styrene monomer (SM) unit and 175,000 tonne/year butadiene facility, was not affected by the 30 November partial outage of the company’s new cracker at the site, the source said.

These three units are derivative facilities of an old 600,000 tonne/year naphtha/light gas oil (LGO) cracker at the site.
