SINGAPORE (ICIS)--China’s KoYo Ecological Agrotech Group shut its 350,000 tonne/year urea unit in Sichuan province, southwest China, on 4 December for annual maintenance, a company source said on Tuesday.
“The company will keep the unit off line for 25 days for annual maintenance,” the source added.
The shutdown of the urea plant is unlikely to have a significant impact on spot prices as the plant’s capacity is small, a trader said.
