HOUSTON (ICIS)--Consumption of US jet fuel increased for the week ended 30 November as stockpiles fell, a government agency’s report showed on Wednesday.
Jet fuel inventories fell by 1m bbl to 40.1m bbl, according to the US Energy Information Administration (EIA).
Higher consumption rates contributed to the drawdown in stockpiles. For the week ended 30 November, jet fuel consumption was at 1.509m bbl/day, up from the previous week’s rate of 1.465m bbl/day.
Meanwhile, production of US jet fuel gained 107,000 bbl/day to 1.446m bbl/day.
