SINGAPORE (ICIS)--Indonesia’s PT Petro Oxo Nusantara (PON) will postpone a planned shutdown for its 140,000 tonne/year 2-ethylhexanol (2-EH) plant at Gresik to February, a company source said on Friday.
The plant was initially expected to be taken off line in the first half of January for a catalyst change, but the shutdown was rescheduled to the second half of February, the source said without elaborating.
The process of changing catalyst at the unit is expected to last 12-14 days, the source said.
