SINGAPORE (ICIS)--China’s industrial output rose by 10.1% year on year in November, up by 0.5 percentage points from October, figures from the National Statistics Bureau (NBS) showed on Monday.
The industrial output in November reached an eight-month high, according to a report from the bureau.
The country’s total industrial output increased by 10.0% year on year from January to November, the report showed.
Chemical raw materials and chemical products manufacturing increased by 12.3% year on year in November, it added.
Out of 471 industrial products manufactured across sectors such as the steel, metal, and automobile sectors, 339 products showed year-on-year growth in output, according to the report.
In November, 41.61m tonnes of crude were processed in China, up by 9.1% year on year, while the country’s ethylene output decreased by 1.2% year on year to 1.298m tonnes.
