MELBOURNE (ICIS)--China’s Ningbo Zhenyang on Tuesday has restarted its 15,000 tonne/year methyl isobutyl ketone (MIBK) plant at Ningbo in Zhejiang province following a turnaround, a company source said.

Its MIBK output will return to normal levels in the coming days, the source said.

During the week-long shutdown, the producer maintained its sales from existing inventories, the source added.

Other MIBK makers in China include Jilin Petrochemical, Zhenjiang LCY General Chemical, Taizhou Petrochemical and Zhejiang Xinhua.
