SINGAPORE (ICIS)--Sinopec and PetroChina plan to process a total of about 32.5m tonnes of crude in December, with daily throughput up by 1.27% month on month at 1.05m tonnes, according to sources from the two companies on Tuesday.
Sinopec’s crude throughput has been set at 19.9m-20.0m tonnes for this month, with the daily throughput at around 645,000 tonnes, a rise of 2.2%.
Sinopec Changling Petrochemical has completed maintenance at some secondary units and resumed normal crude throughput.
Additionally, Shanghai Petrochemical and Maoming Petrochemical have started up some new units, which will push up their crude throughput, sources said.
PetroChina is scheduled to process 12.5m-12.6m tonnes of crude and its daily throughput is largely flat at roughly 404,000 tonnes, sources said. The company has not scheduled any refinery maintenance for December.
