HOUSTON (ICIS)--Consumption of US jet fuel declined for the week ended 7 December even as stockpiles fell, a government agency’s report showed on Wednesday.
Jet fuel inventories fell by 200,000 bbl to 39.9m bbl/day, according to the US Energy Information Administration (EIA).
Meanwhile, for the week ended 7 December, jet fuel consumption was at 1.487m bbl/day, down from the previous week’s rate of 1.509m bbl/day, the EIA said.
Jet fuel production gained last week, moving 3.3% higher to 1.494m bbl/day.
