SINGAPORE (ICIS)--Thailand’s PTT Global Chemical (PTTGC) is running its 515,000 tonne/year mixed-feed I-4 No 1 cracker at Map Ta Phut at around 80% of capacity after restarting the facility last week, a company source said on Tuesday.

The cracker resumed operations as scheduled on 13 December after it was taken off line on 19 November because of some mechanical issues.

PTT is running its other three gas crackers  – with a combined ethylene nameplate capacity of 1.86 m tonnes/year – at 90% capacity this month, the source added.
