LONDON (ICIS)--Poland's industrial output contracted 0.8% year on year in November, Poland's Central Statistics Office said on Wednesday.
A lower number of working days in the month and falling orders that hit export industries were factors in the decline, which compared with a 4.6% rise in October, it added.
No production figure was given for the chemical industry, but declines of 3.7% in the production of rubber and plastic products, 9.6% in furniture making, 7.9% in the manufacturing of motor vehicles, trailers and semi-trailers and 5.3% in construction were noted by the statistics office.
