India’s ONGC sells 35,000 tonnes naphtha for mid-January

SINGAPORE (ICIS)--Indian state-owned refiner Oil and Natural Gas Corp (ONGC) has sold by tender a 35,000 tonne naphtha cargo for loading from Hazira on 13-14 January, traders said on Thursday.

Total won the tender at a premium of $42.00-43.00/tonne (€31.50-32.30/tonne) to Middle East quotes FOB (free on board), they added.

In its last tender, ONGC sold a 35,000 tonne naphtha cargo for loading from Mumbai on 24-25 December.  The buyer was energy major Shell, which paid a premium of $35.25/tonne to Middle East quotes FOB.
