SINGAPORE (ICIS)--Thai Polypropylene plans to restart its 400,000 tonne/year polypropylene (PP) plant at Map Ta Phut, Thailand on Saturday after shutting it on 17 December because of technical issues, a source close to the company said on Friday.
The producer’s two other PP plants at the same site, with a combined capacity of 320,000 tonnes/year, were not affected by the technical issues, the source said.
The producer was not immediately available for comment.
