SINGAPORE (ICIS)--South Korea’s Honam Petrochemical has bought 75,000 tonnes of spot naphtha for delivery in the first half of February, traders said on Wednesday.
Honam bought two cargoes for Yeosu and one cargo for Daesan, they added.
The deal for the Yeosu-bound cargoes was done at a premium of around $16/tonne (€12/tonne) to Japan quotes CFR (cost & freight), traders said.
The price for the Daesan-bound cargo is not immediately available.
