India’s MRPL sells 35,000 tonnes naphtha for late Jan

SINGAPORE (ICIS)--India’s Mangalore Refinery and Petrochemicals Ltd (MRPL) has sold by tender a 35,000 tonne naphtha cargo to Total for loading in the second half of January, traders said on Friday.

The deal for the cargo was done at a premium of $43.25/tonne (€32.44/tonne) to Middle East quotes FOB (free on board), they added.

The cargo is scheduled for loading from the New Mangalore port on 26-28 January, traders said.

MRPL previously sold by tender a 35,000 tonne naphtha cargo to Mitsubishi Corp at a premium of $45/tonne to Middle East quotes FOB. The loading dates are 20-22 January.
