LONDON (ICIS)--An initial European January ethylene contract settlement has been agreed at a rollover €1,275/tonne ($1,700/tonne) amid relatively stable upstream fundamentals and a better than expected outlook for demand, a key producer said on Thursday.
The contract, on a free delivered (FD) northwest Europe (NWE) basis, was fully confirmed by the producer and one of its customers - an integrated consumer. Two other key producers and a second integrated consumer have also agreed the settlement.
