Futures prices continue to be pressured on ongoing concerns over the lack of progress in US budget talks.

The range was notionally assessed wider at $1,510-1,535/tonne for January, but there was a notable absence of any interested buyers or sellers. Meanwhile, the January benzene contract price was fully confirmed at €1,153/tonne, up €69/tonne from the previous month.
