SINGAPORE (ICIS)--Taiwan’s CPC Corp has bought 75,000 tonnes of spot full-range naphtha for delivery to Kaohsiung in February, traders said on Monday.
The deal for the cargoes was done at a premium of $11.00-13.00/tonne (€8.40-9.90/tonne) to Japan quotes CFR (cost & freight), they added.
Asia’s open-spec naphtha contract for first-half February fell by $4.50-5.50/tonne from Friday at $962.50-965.50/tonne CFR Japan on Monday morning, undermined by lower crude futures, ICIS data showed.
