SINGAPORE (ICIS)--PetroChina has cut its January contract prices for Daqing and Jidong crude to yuan (CNY) 5,705/tonne ($125.07/bbl) inclusive of tax, down by CNY22/tonne from December settlement, a company source said on Monday.
The cut is to reflect the weakening crude prices in the international markets.
Daqing and Jidong crude account for 38% of PetroChina’s total crude output.
PetroChina’s January settlement prices for Huabei, Dagang and Changqing crude, on the other hand, are CNY14-22/tonne lower from the previous month, the source said.
