SINGAPORE (ICIS)--South Korea’s Yeochun NCC (YNCC) has settled its December butadiene (BD) contract at $1,596/tonne (€1,213/tonne), down by $44/tonne from the previous month, a company source said on Monday.

In November, the contract price settlement was at $1,640/tonne pipeline DEL (delivered).

YNCC's monthly contract price settlement is derived from the average spot BD prices for that particular month.

In the week ended 21 December, BD spot prices averaged $1,590/tonne CFR (cost & freight) northeast (NE) Asia, according to ICIS.
