SINGAPORE (ICIS)--China’s Shaoxing Sanyuan Petrochemical plans to restart its 200,000 tonne/year polypropylene (PP) line at Shaoxing in eastern China’s Zhejiang province on 2 January, a company source said on Monday.
The line was shut on 30 December, the source said, but did declined to elaborate on the reasons why it was shut.
The company’s other 300,000 tonne/year polypropylene (PP) line at the same site is still running normally.
Local distributors said the shutdown at the PP line is not expeccted to have a significant impact on the market because of its short timeframe.
