SINGAPORE (ICIS)--Taiwan Prosperity Chemical Corp (TPCC) pushed back its 100,000 tonne/year bisphenol A (BPA) unit restart to 1 February from mid-January because of poor margins, a company source said on Wednesday.

The plant in Kaohsiung was shut since 1 November, the source said.

TPCC's upstream 360,000 tonnes/year and 220,000 tonnes/year acetone plant at the same site will restart production from 10 January, the source said.
