HOUSTON (ICIS)--US Delta Airlines said on Wednesday that its subsidiary, Monroe Energy, has shut down the fluid catalytic cracker (FCC) at its Trainer refinery in Pennsylvania.

The unit was shut down over the weekend to deal with the slurry circuit, a Delta spokesman said.

The company expects the unit to be down for 10 days to two weeks.

The Trainer refinery has a capacity of 185,000 bbl/day.
