SINGAPORE (ICIS)--China’s Huizhou Zhongxin Chemical restarted its 200,000 tonne/year phenol/acetone unit and 25,000 tonne/year bisphenol A (BPA) unit at Huizhou in Guangdong province on 4 January, a company source said.
The two plants were taken off line on 21 December 2012 to undergo annual maintenance, the source added.
The plants are expected to achieve on-spec products early in the following week, the source said.
