SINGAPORE (ICIS)--China's Zhejiang Tiansheng Holding Group has shut down its 200,000 tonnes/year polyester line at Shaoxing in Zhejiang on 3 January, a company source said on Friday.

The major products from this line are semi-dull fully drawn yarn (FDY) and bright FDY, the source said.

The line is expected to be restarted after Chinese Lunar New Year, according to the source.

The shutdown will have no significant impact on the domestic market, a trader said.

The company’s other two lines, with total capacity of 600,000 tonne/year at the same site, were running at full operating rates, according to the company source.
