LONDON (ICIS)--Linde has won a contract to design and supply a liquefied natural gas (LNG) plant in China, for the Sichuan Tongkai Energy and Technology Development Company, the Germany-based industrial gases producer and engineering firm said on Friday.

The contract represents the fourth LNG project won by Linde’s engineering division in China. The company did not disclose financial details, or a timeline for the plant’s construction.

To be located in the Bazhong Economic Development Zone, Sichuan, the Bazhong Phase II LNG plant is expected to produce 300,000 tonnes/year of LNG once it comes onstream.
