PetroChina produces 110m tonnes crude in 2012, a record

SINGAPORE (ICIS)--China’s biggest oil and gas producer PetroChina said on Tuesday that its crude production in 2012 reached 110m tonnes, hitting a historical high.

The 2012 production was 2.8m tonnes higher than the previous year, the company said in a statement.

PetroChina’s newly discovered proven reserves in 2012 were 1bn tonnes of oil equivalent, it said.
