SINGAPORE (ICIS)--China's Shandong Hualu-Hengsheng Chemical is running its 80,000 tonne/year adipic acid (ADA) line at Dezhou in Shandong province at full capacity, after restarting it at the end of December, a company source said on Wednesday.
This line was shut for unexpected maintenance on 15 December because of problems in its upstream unit, according to the source.
The company’s second 80,000 tonne/year ADA line is still shut at the same site because of high feedstock benzene prices.
China's Shandong Hualu-Hengsheng Chemical owns two 80,000 tonne/year ADA lines at Dezhou in Shandong province.
