LONDON (ICIS)--The European January styrene customer reference price (CRP) has settled at €1,488/tonne ($1,958/tonne), up €55/tonne from the previous month, the seller involved and several other buyers confirmed on Wednesday.
According to the producer, the price movement this month is in line with the raw materials cost increase and not an alignment with the January barge contract, which was also settled at €1,488/tonne on a free on board (FOB) Amsterdam-Rotterdam-Antwerp (ARA) basis.
The contract was agreed on a free carrier (FCA) Rotterdam basis.
