LONDON (ICIS)--Reliance Industries has held a sales tender for 25,000 tonnes of granular sulphur, a trader said on Wednesday.

The India-based petrochemical major closed the sulphur tender on 9 January, the trader added.

The cargo is for 5-11 February loading from the Indian port of Sikka.

The sulphur producer last sold an export cargo at $150/tonne (€114/tonne) FOB (free on board) to a trader under its 6 December 2012 sales tender for shipment to the port of Richard’s Bay, South Africa in January 2013.

Sulphur prices from Sikka have been steadily declining for months on the back of global weakness.
