09 January 2013 16:05 [Source: ICIS news]LONDON (ICIS)--Production from industry, construction and mining in Germany rose by 0.2% in November from October but output in the country’s chemicals and pharmaceuticals sector fell slightly, according to data released on Wednesday.
November’s increase in overall output follows a revised 2.0% decline in October from September.
On a two-month sequential comparison – October-November versus August-September – overall productive output was down 2.5%, mainly because of a 2.9% decline in industrial output.
Compared with October-November 2011, overall output was down 3.0% year on year, with industrial output down 3.6% year on year and building and construction down 0.9%.
