SINGAPORE (ICIS)--PetroChina said on Thursday that it has entered into an agreement with two partners to build a natural gas pipeline from Rudong county in Jiangsu province to Chongming county in Shanghai.
PetroChina, Shenergy Group and Jiangsu Yangkou Port will form a joint venture to construct and operate the 89.5km-long pipeline, according to the statement.
The natural gas pipeline will have a transmission capacity of 2.4bn cubic metres a year and is expected to come on stream in 2014, according to PetroChina.
