SINGAPORE (ICIS)--Japan’s KH Neochem plans to shut its oxo-alcohols facility at Yokkaichi in Mie prefecture in March for annual maintenance, a company source said on Friday.

The facility, which includes a 130,000 tonne/year 2-ethylhexanol (2-EH) unit and a 120,000 tonne/year n-butanol (NBA) unit, will be shut for 30-40 days, the source said.

KH Neochem’s isononanol (INA) unit at the same site will be shut in early-May, the source added.
