SINGAPORE (ICIS)--Sinopec and PetroChina are expected to process a combined volume of 32.7m tonnes of crude in January, up by 0.6% from the previous month, company sources said on Friday.
Sinopec set its crude throughput for January at 20.0m-20.1m tonnes, up by 0.45% month on month, according to the sources. PetroChina’s crude throughput is expected to rise by 0.84% to 12.6m-12.7m tonnes in the month, the sources said.
The two oil giants will have no turnarounds at their subsidiary refineries in January, and they will raise crude runs at part of the refineries, the sources told ICIS.
Sinopec and PetroChina are the two biggest refiners in China.
