SINGAPORE (ICIS)--Taiwan Prosperity Chemical Corp (TPCC) resumed production at its 40,000 tonne/year maleic anhydride (MA) plant in Kaohsiung on 10 January, a company source said on Friday.

The MA plant was taken off line on 24 December 2012 for scheduled maintenance.

TPCC is currently running the MA plant at 70% capacity, with plans to eventually ramp up to full production, the source said.

Spot MA material will be offered once the plant starts operating at 100%, the source said.
