HOUSTON (ICIS)--US refiner Valero has started planned maintenance work on a hydrotreater at its 88,000 bbl/day Houston refinery in Texas, a company spokesman confirmed on Friday.
The company did not confirm the duration of the maintenance but said the work will not affect Valero’s ability to serve its customers.
Valero began a turnaround on the fluid catalytic cracking (FCC) unit at its 225,000 bbl/day Texas City refinery in Texas on Thursday and has another FCC turnaround planned at its 200,000 bbl/day Corpus Christi refinery in Texas to begin this month.
