NEW YORK (ICIS)--US exports of polyethylene terephthalate (PET) in November declined by 5.2% year on year, according to trade data made available by the US International Trade Commission (ITC) on Monday.
November PET exports totaled 20,184 tonnes, down by 1,106 tonnes from 21,290 tonnes in November 2011.
Month on month, exports fell by 12% to 20,184 tonnes from 22,880 tonnes in October 2012.
Meanwhile, November PET imports rose by 39% year on year to 37,625 tonnes from 26,986 tonnes in November 2011, according to ITC.
Month on month, PET imports were up by 3.7% to 37,625 tonnes from 36,277 tonnes in October 2012.
