SINGAPORE (ICIS)--Bayer MaterialScience plans to restart its 200,000 tonne/year polycarbonate (PC) plant at Shanghai, China, at the end of February, a company source said on Tuesday.

The plant was shut for maintenance in early January this year and the restart is expected to be gradual, the source said.

During the turnaround, Bayer will inspect, perform maintenance and project work at the plant, the source added.
