S.Korea’s LG Chem buys 50,000 tonnes naphtha at lower premiums

SINGAPORE (ICIS)--South Korea’s LG Chem has bought 50,000 tonnes of spot naphtha for delivery from the second half of February to early March, traders said on Thursday.

The deals for the cargoes were done at a premium of $9.00/tonne to Japan quotes CFR (cost & freight), they added.

LG previously bought a 25,000 tonne naphtha cargo for delivery in the first half of February, at a premium of $15.00-16.00/tonne to Japan quotes CFR.
