SINGAPORE (ICIS)--India’s Reliance Industries has raised its domestic list prices for linear low density polyethylene (LLDPE) and low density PE (LDPE) film grade by rupee (Rs) 1/kg ($18/tonne) on Thursday because of strong demand, a company source said.
List prices are now at Rs96.50-99.00/kg DEL (delivered) India for LLDPE, and at Rs101.0-101.50/kg DEL India for LDPE film grade.
“Domestic demand is strong for LLDPE and LDPE, so prices need to increase,” the source said.
Other major Indian PE producers include Indian Oil and Haldia Petrochemicals.
